This three-workshop series is based upon the Six Principles of Ethical Enterprising – the foundation of the 2014 TORCH AWARDS. Each two-hour long workshop will cover two or more of the Ethical Principles and are designed to help each company satisfy the nomination process for the TORCH AWARD.
Designed for business owners, executive leadership teams, executive directors or others with policy decision making responsibilities.
SERIES ONE WORKSHOP (FEB 20TH): Are you a manager - or are you a Leader? The Intersection of Management and Leadership - Ethics and Effective Leadership. How leaders commit to high values and then communicate those to their employees. Participants will discover the key attributes of effective leaders and companies with reputations of high ethics.
SERIES TWO WORKSHOP (MAR 20TH): Motivating and engaging your most valuable asset – your employees. How you can motivate employees to take personal ownership and pride in their work. This session focuses on the effect of employees embracing a higher level of values and then demonstrating those values in personal ownership in their work, becoming more creative and innovative in their jobs, all contributing to growth of the company.
SERIES THREE WORKSHOP (APR 17TH): Creating the Dream Team: Realizing your Potential as an Organization. How the Dream Team contributes back to the community and leaves a great legacy. Visionary leaders will explore methods to support and reward outstanding performance, leading to great work satisfaction. Organizations with a reputation for ethical practices understand the need for conflict resolution, and externally - how to best impact the community that supports them.
